Europe’s top web and communities start-ups meet
The European Tech Tour Association (ETT) is holding its first ETT Web & Communities Summit – an event focused on bringing together Europe’s most innovative Web 2.0 and communities start-ups with leading venture capitalists and senior industry professionals.

Selected companies will present to an international delegation of more than 100 influential investors, technology industry leaders, service providers and academics, offering participants the opportunity to network, develop partnerships and potentially generate financing.
Companies at all stages of development are taking part, including seed, start-up, expansion and pre-IPO that are active in segments across the market including entertainment communities, business networking & B2B communities, Internet infrastructure systems & softwares, e-commerce as well as emerging communities and other trends.
“With only a few thousand dollars, just about anybody can create a website these days, which makes this a diverse and rapidly – moving market. We intend to showcase the best in class now, as well as highlight the raw gems that Europe harbours that may prove to be great disruptive forces for the future,” said Sven Lingjaerde, president, ETT. “The abundance of research and development centres combined with a highly educated, multi- lingual workforce and technology leadership in key industries means Europe is well positioned to capitalise on these nimble new businesses, and the Web & Communities Summit provides a platform for identifying the ‘best of the best’ to help achieve this goal.”
