ETF recruits new team member from Goldman Sachs
The Environmental Technologies Fund (ETF) has recruited Fabrice Bienfait, who has moved across from the investment banking industrials and natural resources group of Goldman Sachs. Earlier this year, the ETF announced the final closing of its environmental technologies fund at £110m, above its fund-raising target. Since then ETF made its third investment, in Novel Polymer Solutions.
With an MBA from Harvard, and an MSc from both Cranfield University and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure D’Ingénieurs De Constructions Aéronautiques, Fabrice Bienfait will initially focus his work on new investments across Europe.
David Quysner, chairman of ETF, said, “We are delighted to welcome Fabrice to ETF. He has an outstanding pedigree and his skills and experience will complement the current team. I am pleased with the quality of people that we have been able to attract to ETF, which is well placed to develop its position as a market leader in the European Cleantech market”.
