University spin-outs show emerging technologies potential
A range of emerging technologies were on show at this year’s annual SETsquared event that took place in conjunction with the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA). These included new headset designs for mobile broadband, future airline seats, odour detectors for medical diagnoses, novel architecture for reconfigurable, programmable logic and unique fuel-cell plates.

Antenova gets $10m investment
Along with the opening of its new U.S. R&D and support centre in Chicago, Illinois, USA, Antenova Ltd, has announced it has secured $10 million further funding for growth and expansion. Artimi raises $26.5m in series B (R2) funding
Artimi Inc., a company which was one of the earliest Due Diligence companies that The Chilli profiled, has closed $26.5 million (R2) in equity financing. Three current investors, Accel Partners, Amadeus Capital Partners, and Index Ventures, led the series B investment. Additional funding came from existing investor, Oak Investment Partners, and a new investor, Bank of Scotland Growth Equity.
